Scott has deep roots in Church of the Messiah. His Mom (Jean) was a parishioner for 86 years and married his Dad (Bill) at the church in 1956. Scott was baptized and confirmed at Messiah and after many years away, he returned as an active member in 2017. Since then, Scott has served on the Vestry and as Treasurer.
Scott recently retired from a career in accounting and finance, most recently with Catholic Charities in Baltimore. He has two grown sons, Noah (living in Charlotte) and Will (living in Atlanta). Scott was raised in Carney, MD, about three miles from Messiah, and now resides in Ellicott City, MD.
