Anne grew up in eastern Kentucky in the college town of Berea where she enjoyed music and folk dancing. After college, Anne enrolled in Virginia Theological Seminary and was ordained Deacon in the Diocese of Lexington (KY). Soon after, her first ministry in Maryland was as Chaplain at Hood College where she was ordained Priest in 1980. Subsequently, Anne served as Assistant at All Saints in Frederick, then as Rector of St. Mark’s, Lappans, near Hagerstown. Her family lived in Hancock, where their two boys were raised and went on to graduate from Frostburg University. Anne's husband, the Rev. Allan Weatherholt, served St. Thomas’ in Hancock for over 40 years. After retirement in 2019, she began serving as an Interim and Transitional Consultant first in Martinsburg, WV, then in the Diocese of Washington before completing her last Interim at Epiphany in Odenton. I have two grandchildren and enjoy reading, sewing and singing with a Masterworks Chorale in Westminster.v
